George Luguche, known in the music business as George KLIFF aka G. KLIFF is a Ghanaian recording artiste from the North of Ghana.
His constant delivery of heavy bars and rhymes on any beat he’s presented with, earned him an extra name ‘ DA HARD CORE DISASTER’.
In the field of showbiz worldwide, it’s rare for a rapper to be that lyrically punchy at the same time vocally good in singing. Gracefully for this champ, that’s the kind of artiste G KLIFF is made up of.
Kliff is one hell of a versatile talent the North has embraced for a decade now.
George who hails from the Upper East region spent most of his entire life in Tamale, Kukou to be precise, a hood in Tamale where hip life was birthed in Northern Ghana in the early 90’s by pioneers /legends KKC, made up of Big Malik and Big Adams (Now resident in Canada).
Like Big Adams said on the Monday Nite Celebrity Show, when he last visited Ghana
“Bukum is for boxers, Kukou is for rappers”.
The hood produced popular rappers like , G Cliff, Ataaka, Sapark, Don Dee, Shaban, Mr Bilz etc.
George came into the music scene and got noticed immediately after he competed with the likes of Tery Adjetey aka Tery Bonchaka, Jerry Anaba known as Okomfour Kwadee in the then Embassy Pleasure, which was one of the most revered talent discovery platform in the country.
George Gliff major breakthrough in the North musically was when he released his maiden album, titled SUGAR DADDY in 2006. The album had hit songs like , Suger Daddy, Nyuri Goya, number one, Monyi answeetie among others.
The rapper has since grown from strength to strength, an effort most industry players up North has recognized and as such crowned him the pace setter in the music industry up North.

G Kliff was the first rapper in the North to have release an album with all songs , I mean all the songs on the album being instant hits. By then, radio Djs had no option that to play more than half of his eight track album every blessed day they come on radio. That was how big his entry was.
G Kliff was the first artiste in Tamale (All genres) to have launched an album at the 23,000 seater capacity Tamale Sports stadium in 2012. Check event flyer below.
His 8 minutes non-stop rap on a single track, was the first of its type in the North. The song “Cease fire” also received major airplay in the region.
His sophomore album , Back to sender , made history in the North as the first ever double plate album with 36 tracks.
He has the highest number of collaboos or featuring with Southern based artiste.(Edem, Trig, Quarta, Old Sodja, Tinny, Iwan etc)
The rapper will later in the year hold a press conference to announce the schedule for his 10th anniversary as a successful recording artiste.
